Coop Norge Recalls Wild Berries

NORWAY – Coop Norge is recalling Coop Wild Berries because the product may be contaminated with norovirus. Norovirus can cause acute onset of nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and watery diarrhea and in addition, some flu-like symptoms such as fever, muscle and joint aches and headaches. The symptoms usually last from one to three nights.

The recalled product is Coop Wild Berry 300 g with the following packing dates: 30.10.2013, 13.11.2013 and 20.11.2013.

Schnitzer Gluten Free Products Withdrawn in Europe

Gluten en productos procedentes de AlemaniaHACCPEuropa has learned, via the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), that Schnitzer Gluten-free products have been withdrawn from the market because the products contain gluten. The products have been labelled as “Glten-free” and therefore the products may pose a health risk to people allergic or intolerant to gluten.

The products have been distributed in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland and Spain (Catalonia).

The withdrawn products are:

EnerBio Sesambrot , Schnittbrot 250g . Best before dates: 09.06.14 / 23.06.14 / 30.06.14 / 05.07.14 / 07.07.14 / 14.07.14 / 26.07.14.

Bio mit Sesam Alnavit cracker, 100g.

SOK Recalls Frozen Rainbow Berries

FINLAND – SOK Grocery is recalling frozen Rainbow raspberries and Rainbow Queen Berries because the product may be contaminated with unidentified virus. The virus has been discovered in the same product in Denmark and SOK has made the recall as a precautionary measure.

The product recalled is frozen Rainbow raspberries 200 g packs and Rainbow Queen berries 300 g packs (Rainbow-vadelmat ja Rainbow-kuningatarmarjat). The recall applies to the Queen Rainbow Berries with best-before dates: 14/05/2015, 15/05/2015 and 03/06/2015 and Rainbow Raspberries with best-before date 13/05/2015. The products have sold all S and Prisma supermarkets.

Saarioisten Recalls Meat Pizza

FINLAND – Saarioisten Ltd is recalling Minced meat pizza because product may contain fish and seafood. Due to production error some packs have been packed with Tuna Pizza and the allergens have not been mentioned on the list of ingredients. Therefore the product may pose a health risk to people who allergic to fish and seafood.

The recalled product is Minced meat pizza (Jauhelihapizzan pakkauksessa), 200 grams. The recall applies to a batch with expiry date 30/12/2013 and the batch number: L3503.

No other Saarioisten’s products are known to be affected.
