Schnitzer Gluten Free Products Withdrawn in Europe

Gluten en productos procedentes de AlemaniaHACCPEuropa has learned, via the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), that Schnitzer Gluten-free products have been withdrawn from the market because the products contain gluten. The products have been labelled as “Glten-free” and therefore the products may pose a health risk to people allergic or intolerant to gluten.

The products have been distributed in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland and Spain (Catalonia).

The withdrawn products are:

EnerBio Sesambrot , Schnittbrot 250g . Best before dates: 09.06.14 / 23.06.14 / 30.06.14 / 05.07.14 / 07.07.14 / 14.07.14 / 26.07.14.

Bio mit Sesam Alnavit cracker, 100g.

Alnavit Buchweizenbrot mit Sesam , Schnittbrot 250g. Best before dates: 14.06.14 / 21.06.14 / 28.06.14 / 04.07.14 / 05.07.14 / 11.07.14 / 12.07.14.

EnerBio Buchweizenbrot , Schnittbrot 250g. Best before dates: 24.06.14 / 06.07.14 / 12.07.14.

Bio Glutenfreies Sesambrot , mit Sesam 14%.

Bio Glutenfreies Buchweizenbrot Buchweizen mit 30 %.

Glutenfreies Mehrkornbrot mit 16 % Amaranth, Gluten und frei von Milch.
